Ordained a priest of the Episcopal Church USA, Diocese of Oklahoma, on January 7, 2006. Served as curate of Saint Luke's Episcopal Church in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, July 2005 through April 2007. Currently serving as the Rector of All Saints Episcopal Church in McAlester, Oklahoma.

Holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas and a Master of Divinity Degree from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas.

Authored an historical novel based on the life of the man we know today as Saint Patrick. Published"I, Patrick, a Sinner..." in 1999. Has also authored 4 screenplays.

A Celtic folk musician. Sings, plays button accordion, guitar, kayboard, and soprano, alto and tenor recorders.

Married for thirty-seven years to Sam Swinnea, a Graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington and employed in the oil movements divisions of Mobil, Sunoco and Magellan collectively for thirty years.

Parents of Patrick, Kathleen, Erik and Kyle.
