Master Creator,

As I consider all that is, I am amazed at your creation; the mountains, the deep blue sky, the oceans, the prairies, the abundance and variety of all living creatures... and I give you thanks.

As I consider all the tragedies of life; death, illness, sorrow, pain, injury, I am confused...and I doubt you.

As I consider all the harm that humans inflict upon one another and all of creation; war, injustice, poverty, prejudice, I am angry... and I cry out to you.

As I consider all those people whose lives are testaments to love, mercy, justice, generosity, healing, comfort, faith, I am filled with awe... and I ask to be like them.

Accept my thanksgiving for all that you are, Holy Trinity One God, and for all that you desire for us to be. AMEN
